Paint tile

Gives an arrow that passes over it its colour.

First appears on level 191

What it does

A paint tile is a round splash of colour with that colour's symbol. It never blocks.

An arrow that flies over it takes its colour and symbol for the rest of its path, so it can get through, and open, a gate of that colour further on. Bombs stay bombs. The paint stays for later arrows too.

How to beat it

  • A gate with no arrow of its colour in sight? Look for a paint tile on some arrow's path in front of it.
  • The tutorial shows an arrow of another colour picking up paint and opening a gate.

Good to know

  • Level 191 introduces paint with one tile and the one gate only its paint opens.
  • In-game tip: "Paint gives an arrow its colour."
