Obstacles
Portal
Carries an arrow's path across the board to its pair.
First appears on level 101
What it does
Portals come in pairs: a rim in the pair's colour round a dark, slowly turning swirl, with the pair's number as white dice dots (1 to 6). An arrow whose path reaches one portal sinks in, shoots out of its twin going the same way, and carries on.
Nothing rests on a portal and nothing is stopped by one. A pair's two cells are never in the same row or column.
How to beat it
- When a path reaches a portal, jump to its twin (same colour, same dots) and keep following the path from there.
- On a zoomed-in board the camera follows an escaping arrow through the portal, so you see where it comes out.
Good to know
- Level 101 introduces portals with a single pair. Later levels have up to 6 pairs, each in its own colour.
- In-game tip: "Portals send arrows out of their pair."
