The town argues around the fountain in the piazza: the Mayor, the Baker, the Seamstress and the Lawyer, with the Madman on the fountain's rim

The day

How it plays

Dawn, the talk and the vote: the town argues and sends someone out.

What it does

At dawn the narrator says who the killers found, or that the night passed without a murder; by default the victim's card stays hidden. The TV also shows the town's rumour, the most suspected name of the night.

During the talk, each player can point at one suspect from their phone, and the accusation board shows the arrows live on the TV.

Everyone has the same Secret actions drawer: for most it says there's nothing to do today, the Mayor can reveal and the Kamikaze can explode.

Then the vote: open, with each vote shown as an arrow as it arrives, or secret, with only the count.

Most votes goes out, and a revealed Mayor's vote counts twice. The one who goes out may say a few last words before their card is shown.
